Discovery front footwell

Are they prone for leaking water down the bulk head and soaking the sound proofing on the offside front well :?

mine has always done it untill i took the wings off and welded it but make sure you remove the sound profing as i didnt and had a big fire doh
i only go in as far as my nuts

Also windscreen leaks will end up there.

look at the top of the bulk head around the heater vent inlet any rust around there will let water in, and will end up on the footwell floor

i just squirted a load underseal around it and no more leaks  :dance:

I did that with a tiny hole in the hing base on my LSE, now I've got a carpet of pine needles in there instead :roll:

Have a look behind the o/s wing where the aerial co-ax goes through the bulkhead see if the grommet is still there
