Well....tonight after a heavy night of Badminton I was coming home and decided to wind down I would go have some fun in the flooded puddles out at frencham (just round the corner) was spinning round the muddy car park in 2WD when somthing possessed me to drive over an earth hump about 20in high, first time no issues nice bump over, second time I was a bit further over and oh dear bottomed out with all 4 wheels in soft dirt....
tried 4wd, no traction. winch stuck in free-spool, high lift at home, tried the logs trick and also dug a fair few pounds out with my little army spade, no luck... finally after a chat with a drunk Will ha said can I not force the winch lever's broken stud in, so in one of those desperate trys I managed to get it to click (just) under power, 2 mins later I was out!!!
Thanks to Will, Mark, Tim and Matt who all where drunk but still tried to thinkl of people to help me and who all offered to come and halp in the morning when safe to drive!!
Well we all do silly things from time to time I am definatly fixing the winch issue this week-end!!! X9 is serviced and ready to go on. would have had the plasma ready too if the lying, cheating delivery man had not stolen it yesterday after forging my name (even was thick enough to spell it wrong) and is still saying I was in and signed for it, silly fool I was at work in Chertsey and have the secirity cams and logs to prove it!!
Police are getting involved on Monday unless his manager gets him to admit it tomorrow!
