SVO Prices

Is me or have svo prices just rocketed I'm now having to pay £2.98 for 3L, in Lincoln, what are theprices like where you are, last month it was £2.21 for 3L and it was £1.98 when i started using it, do any of you have a good source?

I think demand has put the price up.

At a £1 a litre for SVO I personally wouldnt bother even if I could use it.

Likewise, I thinking about a LPG conversiuon for ours if it ever comes back form the bodyshop.

i was a tesco near brighton, there corn oil which i used to buy a lot of at 49ppl, is now 89ppl, which doesnt make it worth buying as a diesel mix even at 50/50 :'(

Cheapest I can get it is now £2.45 for 3 litres :sad: but Tescos is £2.98! 2 weeks ago they were £2.21 :doh:

Trouble is, people are speculating on the price in the stock market, so that is driving the price up!

Especailly as corn oil isn't the best thing to use as a fuel IIRC.

Especailly as corn oil isn't the best thing to use as a fuel IIRC.

Corn oil and rape seed are the two best ones.

Lidl are doing veg oil for 78p a litre    went yesterday to get my usual   30 litres  and the over to Asda to get my 15 litres of diesel  that lot does me for a weeks travel from Brum to Worcester

hitting 99ppl up here at the moment, sainsburies surprisingly cheap with rapeseed @74, and corn @80

..although tesco do do a rapeseed @56ppl... however there is surprisingly never any in stock! :-k
