The fail was expected as it's not running well at the moment and as expected failed on emmissions. However, it also failed on inner wing needing welding under the brake servo, a fog light bulb 8-[Drop arm ball joint and opposite track rod end. I tried getting the drop arm off prior to the last MOT and broke a puller trying so put half a new kit in the drop arm instead. This time it's going in to the garage top get both of these done!.Oh yeah... and the loss of perfermance is partly down to expensive fuel dribbling out of the engine bay mounted fuel filter... better get that bit fixed fast! :oops:They also found a few non-MOT things though. :shock:The rear prop shaft bolts are loose at the handbrake :doh:The front prop is goosed... loads of movement in the splines... only a matter of time before it goes proper... so I'm on the hunt for a replacement [-o<With a bit of luck, this time next Wednesday, I'll have a valid ticket again.
which disco failed??i got a front prop for a 1990 disco
Only concern now is the emmissions... cos even with new filters and spark plugs (dizzy cap & rotor were replaced fairly recently) and confirming tight head bolts, she still doesn't feel or sound right... :pale:
Ben & Kieth (not forgetting the Hissmeister!) thanks for the support.Ben.... think I might need to look into that little nugget... Now everything is computerised I thought what it needed was driven by the machine...
