I have just done a 2:" body lift on my Disco, I had a small extension piece made for the diff-lock lever and nothing else, so far the steering hasn't been a problem, check the brake lines you should need to get longer ones, I already had them fitted with a 2" suspension lift and they also seem ok with the extra 2" body lift, it depends on how much articulation you have with your suspension - standard or raised.

Safely 60mm, although I went 40mm and I don't think I would want to go any higher,

Robbie,

I done a 2" On my old Disco, managed to obtain another shaft cut it and cut my old one sleeved with a 2" x 10 wall tube, I had coded welders weld the sleeve (handy working at a Nuclear site!!!)

I did think about pinning it as well but never did in the end
