« on: April 14, 2008, 21:40:55 »
Been waiting for someone to add this for ages, someone put it up earlier this year

Saw him do this, & lead into it from (Springsteens) 'Racing In The Streets' at the Leeds Irish Centre way back in about 1987 for the 'Exit 0' promotional tour
He was on stage for about 4 hours!!!!!!!!!!

'Sweet Little 66'

I know 'Bishops Finger' is an Earle fan too, but I'll bet there's more than us 2 out there???

Been into Steve Earle since Copperhead Road. Saw him at Leeds Irish Centre - excellent, one of the best gigs I've been to. Prefer his early stuff.

If you like Steve Earle, then you should have a listen to his son.

Cant remember the fellas name but he has his fathers abilities.

(Springsteens) 'Racing In The Streets'

One of my favourite Springsteen tracks, does he do it justice?
Blue,  1988  Range Rover 3.5 EFi with plenty of toys bolted on

1995 Range Rover Classic Vogue LSE with 5 big sticks of Blackpool rock under the bonnet.

He was

That's a cracking song. The first time I heard that, I was spell-bound for every second of it!

Out of the recent stuff, I do like 'The Mountain', with the Del McCoury Band  (plus Iris Dement on I'm Still In Love With You')
It's a superb CD! A 'BTM Recommendation'

Sadly I can't find I'm Still In Love With You', but this is another song filled with pure sentiment from Iris Dement (just read the comments)
