Extended bump stops
«

I have just done a 2" lift on my disco and as part of that was planning to put extended bump stops all round
the ones I have brought do not have any metal plates, do these just bolt on or do you need to get
some fixings for them.
Seems a bit flimsy with just bolts through the stops.

I had some of those, they're not the best really
I used large washers to hold thim in place
My only worry was that something might hit them and knock them of
it wouldn't take much for a rock or branch thats driven over to rip them off
The ones with the built in metal plates are much better but very expensive
:D

On the front I notched 2 extra holes out and made a plate up to sandwich the bump stop in, so it's held on with 4 bolts at the front, the rear, as mentioned above, you';ve only really got large washers as an option
