I use a 'midland' rig. Not the cheapest but good quality.

Mine is a TTI TCB-770 which came from 4x4cb.com which works well, only problem I have is the ariel and more importantly the cable to the ariel need better setting up to get the SWR down (another job for the rebuild ). A friend has the same rig in his series, both have worked well and they are well speced, thought I suspect is ariel is set up better than mine, certainly the descrete routing of mine behind the dash doesn't help.

The service from 4x4cb was good and they have a wealth of CB information on their website. Beware of older sets on ebay, many of used illegal frequancies so check carefully before you buy a cheap one.

Just installed mine. Used 4x4cb aswell. Ace service and all the knowledge..

Auction site buys are not good for these as you dont know if they work till a few hours of install, and results can differ with quality and knowledge of install.

Cbs from £49 on their web site
