off roading in the forest of dean

just got back from a short family break in Lydney, forest of dean
must have seen 10 of different off roaders out and about....
anyone know what the crack is with driving around the forest (i.e. are there any purpose trails) as were going back soon and i might take the landy!!!

Don't think there is a lot, but certainly DO NOT drive on the Forestry Tracks as you could very quickly lose your vehicle.
And be careful of all the loonies on their mountain bikes!

start by buyin one of the os maps of the area the landranger ones with the green lanes marked on i think.
