  Looks like i am travelling up tonight with wifey who is on a course there tomorrow,    Basiclly i have a car  ( non landy) and a day to my self there , any ideas where to/not to go ??
TD5 with a few Tweaks ;o)
a bit more fuel friendly than the V8

 The Llangollen railway isn't a million miles away either, although I'm not sure what they have on mid week.

Visit the Aquaduct near Llangollen it's Massive and scares the kakapoopoo out of you when you walk across it (even worse when your in a narrow boat  :shocked:) Llangollen is well worth a visit too  ;)

Family legend has it that my Great-Grandfather used to walk over there daily. I've done it once, it's ok so long as you don't look at the unguarded side!

Lee,
it's brilliant in a narrow boat. You stand there holding the tiller, looking over a 4" piece of cast iron straight down to the river below.

My wife had to sit inside the boat last time we went over, she was that shacken. I have even seen someone stick his boat in gear on one side and let itself bang its way across as he sat inside!!

AS said Llangollen is a good trip....also worth checking out the lakes around Ellesmere...
