i think they are M10's and i have the lengths written down at home from when i had my tow bar off last weekend and had to replace them, so i will check later for you.

when are you thinking of fitting it mate, as i wouldnt mind coming round and measuring it up before you put it on

My southdown tank guard is held on by M12 bolts, 8.8 steel - not sure of the length though, 150mm?

Hi Keith

Glad it turned up at last - you will need it for Sibby next weekend!

I went round Sibbertoft last week - Stuart and I had looked at the steps (land-anchor) on the back of mine and both went..." need to move those..." only the day before and you kind of know that I got attacked by a glass or two of wine so abandoned all thought of doing the step...

Mullered!

Totally...

As in, balanced on winch bumper and rear steps.... wot no traction?

Steps now removed, tow hitch moved up but still have original drop plate so mighty envious of your new tank guard...

Will be joining you at Sibby next weekend though...

See u Mon at the Greyhound.

just checked the lengths i needed to get for my tow bar, and i needed 100mm one side and 130 the other due to a great big spacer fitted. But if i was you, and to be on the safe side, i would measure the width of the chassis, and add the width of the guard and a bit for the nut.

im gona try the 150mm as above that way should be plenty but if i remember rightly we checked under my car and i dont have the big spacer thing like u have m8
only problem is now im working nites i wont be home now till 6am sat morn so ive gotta dart over to the nut n bolt shop  [-o< pray that they have some lovely shiny bits then back to northampton and look after my parents cats while they away and thennnnnnnnnnnnn all the way back home again lol
