You need a nut splitter, it's an essential part of the Land Rover toolkit.
I actually prefer my oxy bottles - I can do or undo virtually anything with them!!! and in the tightest of places too!!!

I sympathise GuyI did something similar today whilst cutting floor tiles with a stanley knife - slipped and nearly sliced the top of my finger off! loads of the red stuff kept the kids laffing for while whilst I went whiter and whiter!

Trouble is how quickly it empties the res on my compressor!
Could have been worse - you might have been doing it in the summer with shorts on :shock: :twisted: I usually consider how big a job is by the quantity and severity of the cuts and bruises
Simple job to do today, drop and refil gearbox oil on the disco, still managed to skin two finger when cracking off the drain plug should know better than putting hand in between spanner and gearbox
