300 tdi injector pipes
« on: May 07, 2008, 18:33:39 »
Silly question, I slackened of the pipe to one of the injectors to try and find a knocking noise and when the pipe is removed from the injector there is only a drip coming from the fuel pipe with the engine running, is this normal as I thought it would chuck a lot of fuel out ?

There should be a high pressure pulsing squirt from the pipe. Injector pressure is a few hundred psi.
If you slacken the lock nut on one of the other injector pipes you will get some idea of what it should be.
