wich lift kit td5

im looking to get a 2"lift kit on my 110 td5 , what kit would you guys recomend??
iv been told that i may need a propshaft on a 2" kit others say i dont  :^o   whos telling porkys ??.

depends on how far you want to go. alot of people only change the prop if they get alot of vibration or are using it at extreme angles often. also castor arms are debatable to whether you need them. all depends on your individual motor. try and stay away from h.duty springs as they wont have as much flex in them.

First question to ask is what you want the vehilce to do?

This can make a huge diffference to what is better suited to your needs. It can also make a biggo difference to your budget, too.

well i just want to do the odd bit of off roading ,bit o greenlanes. nothing to heavy

its a 110 9seater , i tow a jetski with it now and then , i still use it on road most of the time it will just be the odd day hear and there , maybe a weekend

Personnally...

For your planned usage, I wouldn't bother with a lift kit.  Apart from increased body roll, increased insurance costs, need for castor corrected arms etc etc... You wouldn't really gain anything.

I'd just fit LR HD rear springs, and a set of good quality dampers....  but that's just me.

Gotta go with Porny here - fitting the HD springs will probably give you about an inch of lift, but it'll transform the handling on road and off - it'll make for better towing too (not so much of an issue with a jet-ski, but it may if you're moving owt with a bit o' mass to it).

Best of all, the LR HD springs are well made and cheap!  :cool:

With it being stuff designed for the vehilce, it shouldn't make any odds to the rest of the drive train either. Which could save you a packet. More money for jet-ski juice!
