looking at maybe replacing my current defender seats with more comfortable ones. been looking at the range rover classic ones mainly.
what other ones are there that are redily available and cheap. im not exactly a small guy, so i dont want to compremise the leg space.

Rover 214 sei..... half leather
gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!

when you do replace them just remember that you need to get to your battery(s) so make it easy to get out if needs be.

If you use the rear seat from a disco or rangey then the split section will still tilt forward to allow access to the battery.

You have to make a couple of brackets and you can't have a cubby box (Obviously) but aprt from that it pretty painless. Chap on LandyZone has done it and has posted a how to thread I'll PM you the link.

Yes Citroen AX seats have lift out bases, currently be discussed on other forum at the mo.
