Help! My dog needs a nice home
« on: May 22, 2008, 12:01:17 »
Hi all

Not sure if this is the best place to post this but I have ran out of ideas    Moderators please move to correct place if needed  ;)

Due to recent seperation I am living in a flat where no pets are allowed.  I have got away with keeping my dog 'Lego' there for 2 months but now I have had a letter of complaint so he has to go  :(

He was rescued from RSPCA home in Leicester as a puppy 9 years ago ( he is 10 years old but runs/plays like a puppy ) so by rights he should go back there but they cannot take him till 12th June (appmnt booked as last resort).  He has been coming to work and staying in the Disco ( checking him every hour or so in this weather ) and seems happy enough cos he is used to being in there when we go laning all day.  HOWEVER people where I work are now pointing the 'cruelty' finger even though I got blacked out glass, both sunroofs open and windows part down.  Not hot in there cos I checked but I am having threats of calling RSPCA if I carry on bringing him.

He is half Staffie and half summat else - prob lurcher if you look at him.  Great with kids and a bit loopy.   If anyone is looking for a dog and can help or want to know more, PM me please.  He even has LR dog tag

As long as he has food and clean water, is exercised regular and is not hot, the RSPCA won't do anything.

Try asking on Staffie forum, sure someone on there will take him as a companion

Our Staff loves the car, he would rather sleep in there all day, than his bed in house

Ignore them @ work, especially if you have had him since pup

if you were closer we would take him!

what about family? could non of them give him a home (even if its temporary, until you get somewhere you can have pets?)

It has been said that, given enough time, a million monkeys bashing at a million typewriters would eventually produce the complete works of Shakespeare. Thanks to the Saxo forums, we now know this to be wrong

No oil leek = No oil left!

Tried everything I can think of in the short term with no joy but he needs a new permanent home really as I am out at work all day too !!
