1991 Disco 3.5v8 Alternator

Hi

I am after an alternator for my disco, does anyone know what other cars use the same alternator as the local scrap yard does not have any
disco's. I am sure other cars must use the same alternator.

Hi,
     I would think any Range Rover or Rover V8 alternator would fit without a problem, are you sure you need a new alternator and it isn't just the voltage regulator/brush box that needs replacing though as this is the usual culprit when an alternator stops charging, and is a cheap and easy fix as it's usually just held on with three screws to the back of the unit, anyway if you're sure you want an alternator check out    this link

rover 3500, there are bound to be some of them in the scrappy's, montego, meastro, early rover 600 series, 800 series, (like the 820, 825)
