Disco 300 tdi rear door windows

Hi, the rear door windows ( electric ) sometime work sometime don't, anyone had this if so what is the problem,

yes mate had the same problem when i got mine, it was the control box under the glovebox on the top of the kick panel.
i took it out and to bits and found a dry joint on the circuit board, soldered it up, put it back together not had a problem since
300tdi disco, bfg muds, 2"lift, husky, few other extra's bolted on

Hi.

This is a common problem, although I haven't heard of the above solution before. Normally it is dust and fluff in the switch assembly under your left elbow. The trim panel comes off easily, the switch panel is them held on with a few screws, once removed you can clean it out. If both windows are affected concentrate on the square isolating switch.

i had the same problem and it turned out to be a broken bit of solder in the control box in the passengers foot well there is a diagram some were on how to fix it ill try and find it for you
i only go in as far as my nuts
