I went through a flood in the RR a couple of years ago - six inches deep if that, more of a large puddle - and somehow managed to blow the silencer apart!  I took the Mondeo through similar last year and it didn't miss a beat. :?

(Both on the way home from work, nowhere near houses.  Flooding someone else's property is immoral and I wouldn't like it done to me.)
