Young Landy Owner
« on: May 31, 2008, 17:32:07 »
Hi all
My name is Sam, I'm 14 have just bought my first Land Rover. It's a SWB Series 3 that I plan to fix up ready to drive when I'm old enough. I'm planning to paint it orange & black and re-carpet the inside at the moument. I've recently just replaced the  blue canvas with a hard top. I plan to sell the  blue canvas to get money to buy 4 rear fold out seats and seat belts. It's posted on ebay if anyone is interested. It'll help give me money to spend at the Eastnor Castle show next week
Have fun
Sam

Welcome to the club

Good luck with the restoration / Fix Up, and dont get disheartened when it doesnt go the right way, the end result will be worth while, i did it when i was 16 and i want to do it again when i get the time and space, i have had countless Land Rovers since and i still love them no matter how much trouble they give me, i will have many many more

hiya m8, i know what your going to go through as i started with a wreck of a series 2a lwb safari and it seems that all you do is spend, but keep going and reap the rewards once completed
