Haven't times changed, when I passed my test in 1988

You could drive anything up to 7.5 tonnes including a trailered lorry!

Well done BTW, I'm always impressed with people reversing a trailer, because i always bog it up and have get out and push it!
If want to walk it walk it, if you want to ride it ride it just leave me alone to drive it!

C1 (7.5tonner) is next on my list when i can afford to.

Reversing the trailer is the easy bit...its losing all the bad driving habits for the test thats the hardest bit!

I wouldn't bother with the C1, if I were you. For what the difference would be, you'd be better off going for the C (HGV).

test is about £110

the going rate for lessons is about £30hr + VAT

I'm not quite sure of the difference between C / C1 etc yet - still need to look into it!

I think my mate has just done C+E, which gives him all of the above, including trailer.
