sunroof - easy remove ?
« on: June 07, 2008, 10:26:26 »
Landrover standard sunroof - is it possible to easy unclip it and remove the glass so you have the open hole? I have had other cars where you can do this but I can't seem to find a way with the defender's unless the mechanism is seized - I do not want to force it just in case it not supposed to.

on mine, u open it up fully, there there should be a small brass clip thing showing, with a groove in it. put a key in the groove and pull it down, and then u can push the sunroof up and pull it off its hinges.

wicked ! I see a notch with a spring- all cruded up, just pushed it back with a screwdriver using a bit a force  and it released the sunroof from the catch - nice one thankyou.
