im off "oooooop" north tomorrow!

well i am venturing oooop north to DERBY (donnington park to be specific) for this years DOWNLOAD festival  :dance:
the summer started at gatecrasher and now continues at download whoop whooooop!

Doesn't become North to me until I cross the M62 but really Hadrians Wall  :doh:

 :lol:Hope you have a good time and the weather holds for you, have very happy memories of the old "Monsters of Rock" concerts there apart from the excellent motor racing and of course the amazing ZZ Top concert with the stupendous Eliminator 34 Ford Hot Rod arriving overhead by helicopter !!!!

Hi,

have a good time, we will probably hear it this year as we have moved up the hill  - we are pushbiking distance from castle donington and east midlands airport is the other side of the motorway (we have to get on the roof and paint a sign - if you can read this you are too low)

it in the midlands as far as i know but they do say anythink past peterborough from here is up north :D

im off down south this weekend! billing aquadrome. hope its not called the 'aqua'drome because it rains all the time!

apparently it dosent rain half as much down south as up north, so fingers crossed!

Don't mention the M62, I'm still recovering...

There you are in lane 2 on a 4 lane section, having moved from lane 1 because you're approaching a line of HGV's in lane 1, two or more HGV's indicate to overtake a marginally slower HGV, so you move to lane 3, but while you were moving, one of the HGV's decides it's microscopically faster than the HGV in front, and has moved rapidly into lane 3, you're rapidly approaching it's rear by now, and check of lane 4 tells you that the car approaching from behind is doing 20mph+ faster than you are...

I had this happen about six times, and each time I've had to stamp on the brakes

They don't need to go on a fuel protest to start blocking roads, they already do so, they instead need to change their lead boots, and check their sodding mirrors occasionally.

No I'm not anti-HGV, as I hold a C+E licence.
