Some thieving lowlife tried to brake into my TD5 last night on the drive,luckily the alarm is very loud and they scarpered they have bent the top of the passenger door trying to force it open. Cant get it to bend back so the door shuts flush, any ideas to get it back to shape?
Is it worth any extra security measures to make sure they dont get it started if they successfully break in another time or is the ECU immobilizer sufficient?
I am so annoyed about the door as ive only had it just over a month. :'(

The standard alarm set-up isn't that bad (well, not too bad)- unless you know how to get around it.
If it was my Td5 Defender:
I'd move the horn (at least one of them) from the standard postition, or try and prevent access to it from the inner wing.
I'd make the lid to the ECU lockable - to prevent access to the ECU (I won't post why on a public forum)
I'd fit some mechanical protection - the mech lock from mud stuff is good (

I'd fit a set of rear window guards - like these -
http://www.safari-equip.co.uk/index.php?page=57 - the main window isn't as bad, but a good punch will put the rear windows through (without breaking) - a set of internal guards will prevent this.
Door wise... if you sit in the passenger seat and put your just under the window you should be able to pull the top of the frame back in. Is worth a try anyway... or time for another door :(
