Disco electric window problems

my girlfriend has a 300tdi es disco all electric windows and electric sunroofs but.......................everything works apart from the rear electric windows, i have checked the fuses in the car and none have gone it just seems off that both windows dont work???

does anyone have any ideas or simple solutions or anyone experienced the same problem?

just done this on mine mate,its a dry joint on the window lift ecu,thats down behind the glove box unplug the plugs open the end of it with a screw driver DONT DROP IT ON THE CRASH SENSOR and slide the circit board out look at the solder joints you will see a dodgy one,resolder it and replace it and your windows will work once more

thankyou ever so much perfect instructions, re-did the solder took it out and jobs a good un all the windows are working

maybe thats why mine dont work then :? i,ll have a look there good advice :cool:

Thank you both for the crystal clear instructions and the pictures.

I've just been outside and fixed mine too...!!!! flipping things haven't worked for over a year now - but they do now...!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

No wonder I love mud-club sooooo much...!!!

it gave me a real sense of achivement when i sorted mine on my first discovery a couple of years back and its so annoying when they dont work isnt it!im glad i/we managed to help some others rather than me just asking about my problems,but i guess thats what makess this forum the best one in my book.
