Sandglow, paint code is 361 and apparently you can get it or a near match from Halfords.

IIRC it's the same paint as the old Austin Allegro and Morris Marina. Door handles and other bits match too.

The G4 colours only really suit newer vehicles, build a camel replica you know you want too!

Our Discos are "really old" too, at least by normal car standards. Even the youngest Disco 1 is ten this year!

I would say to go for a "Camel Trophy Inspired" look, rather than an out and out replica. Bear in mind that in those days they didn't have half the parts we can now get (detachable towbars for example) and it'd be a pity not to be able to use some of the current crop of goodies.

Ah, but the camels are that colour because it enables them to blend into the desert. The bright orange ones were all eaten in accordance with the rules of natural selection...

So which bright spark decided to make sand that ghastly colour!
