Can someone tell me how to disable the warning buzzer that warns of keys left in ignition and lights left on.
I can hear it somewhere near the fuse box but I don't know what it looks like.
I don't suppose there is a fuse that I can pull to turn it off nothings ever that easy

I don't mind the headlight beeper, but the key one drives me nuts. It's something they do on cars that might sell to the US market IIRC. Clearly they're too stupid to remember to take the keys with them there...

Just in case anyones interested. I undid 2 bolts holding the main fuse box in and on the back of the fuse box is a cream coloured box with a Lucas sticker on it.
I disconnected this from the fuse box but left the wires connected to it. All the warning buzzers are now silent and as yet everything else is still working.

Yes it did get rid of the 74mph chime but Ive since discovered that my fog lights and rear demister stopped working when I disconnected the buzzer
I'm still trying to work out how to silence it without removing it.
I put it all back hoe it was and now my front and rear demister are still out of action and my rear wiper won't work either  anyone got any ideas???

This 74mph chime business - is that an indicated 74 or a GPS 74? I know the speedos tend to read low on these!

Thanks, after some testing (on a private road  :police:) I can safely say that mine doesn't do this...
