i been thinking again

i think thats twice since i turned 30! (gonna sit down now)

how does this ring out..

have a map drawn and be seen on a website, but with locations of offroad sites on them and links from that onto further information.

also have pictures of the site on the link page and also reviews of the site/facilities/nearest petrol stations etc

information that would be darned useful for those non-yokels!

what do you think?

Click and go . The more you click the more you 'zoom' in on your target

yeh thats the plan

but something like that sounds too difficult for ickle old me

might just have a map with "pins" sticking out of locations then you click on the pin (and mouseover it to show some text) then it takes you to the profile of that site.

but seeing how big the country would be i doubt having a decent enough scale map to fit on a web page would be feasible so might split it into regions (south/midlands/north/scotland/wales)

i dont want criticism i would rather have some help!

errr yeah ermm forget that one, it just gives you a pretty map - nothing about adding detail like site names, address, link to streetmap or multimap or summat

There used to be something similar on ORRP - web page of UK divided into counties and each county was a seperate thread, I think the threads were 'hidden' from normal view on the forum pages.
