right lads,i have a question for you all,while i was doing my cam belt today i noticed that i was getting diesel running down the caseing from behind the diesel pump sproket so i removed it and have found that the caseing on the diesel pump is cracked causing it to leak.now im unsure what pump to replace it with.my car is a 300 tdi auto,so should i refit one from an auto or will a 300 manual one do?it has an elctrical connector on it and its not for the stop solenoid,do they both have that?what im trying to find out is is there any difference between them?any help would be great as im at a loss on this one.cheers paul.
