ABS fault
« on: June 29, 2008, 13:45:29 »
recently had an ABS fault where the ABS light was coming on randomly, this seems to have stopped but now i get the ABS activating and feathering the brake pedal, that is you feel it pulsing under your foot but it only seems to happen maybe once or twice first time the brakes are used when you start the car from cold in the morning and ,maybe coincidentally, only when the wheel is turned either left or right it never does it if you brake in a straight line

any ideas welcome

Mine does that - if I switch the ignition of when driving along and then back on again it stops doing it - I have a long history with sensor air gaps and its down to that on mine - give your sensors a tap to reseat them and it'll prolly go away (for a bit anyways)
