« on: July 01, 2008, 19:51:35 »
Hi All

Just thought I'd let you all know ..

I took a mate out the other night (sat) cause he's getting married after an 18 year engagement  we went to the comedy store in manchester and what a night we had...

The comics were a little close to the bone and very non PC but side splitting

we saw 5 acts inc the mc. who was very good (but not for the prudish  ) the club itself is very good ..

it only cost £18 for the night and was well worth the cost and traveling

Just thought I'd let you all know incase anyone fancys going that the 2nd and last sunday of the month the show is free yes free

and if you pay a tenner you get a meal as well  you can book tickets online here...

We went on the sat night for the best in standup thats why it was £18  ;) included junior simpson and Jason Rouse both very funny

The free shows are hit and miss they are all established comics that are trying out new material . However the MC did say that they get some big names showing up and as the are all profesionals no amateurs so they know there stuff

It's not a promotinal thing as they do it twice a month just to see if the act works with a live audience good if your not sure wether you'd enjoy it or not ;)

Raw hide Liverpool  ,  Thanks for that I'll check it out as I think for the money it's a good starter for a cracking night out :D
