Sounds fine to me, although it does wobble a bit when the driver gets in.

a small silencer is just perforated tube and wadding.
it will be fine for a week or so like mine was then get full of carbon and other diesel nasties
and be as loud as it was before you fitted the silencer.
spend your cash on something else!

Just out of interest, who supplied your exhaust?
I may need to replace the rear section of my 110.

I got the tail pipe from a patern part place, and i made the mid pipe from some bits i had in the garage.

I've just done mine too. I went with a slightly larger bore 63mm straight through and exited it through the rear 1/4 panel.
I think it sounds the dogs doodas

see ive only made a mid section, and bought a proper rear section from a pattern part supplier.

How did you bend yours?

I think the mid section i made needs to be slightly longer though - the rear section does not sit correctly and sticks out about an inch to far...

I didn't have access to a pipe bender so I kept all the old bits of exhaust as it slowly fell apart. There's enough bends and angles in the original plus the extra 2m of straight section to make this. Trial and error to cut, grind and shape, tack it till it's right, then weld the sucker!

The rear silencer is just a resonator. Some people have said that the noise is too much a higher revs, so just have the resonator fitted .

Mark,

a friend of mine had a side exit exhaust made at Custom-car, they are on the Leyland industrial estate in Wellingborough, mate drilled the hole in his motor, they bent a piece of pipe up, added the hanger and then fitted it for £30, looks great and on a V8 sounds pretty cool too
