Wheel Stud Nut Anti-theft type
« on: July 07, 2008, 18:15:43 »
Hiya,

The Disco has the anti-theft wheel nuts, the four pin type.  Im changing some tyres over onto a Rangie Ive done three no problems, but the four looks like the pin holes in the "nut" are slightly worn and causing the Nut Adaptor to slip out all the time :(

Has anyone experienced this before and whats a good solution to get the wheel off?

Good job Im not sitting at the side of the road with this stubborn thing haha!

Help please!

I hammered on a 20mm 1/4" drive socket and then just "unscrewed" it :)

Job done :)
