Daihatsu conversion on a 90

Looking at a 90 with a Daihatsu engine conversion, what's the pro's and con's? not bought it yet so what should I look for? Thanks

realy good engine much more powerfull than a tdi but a big but when it goes wrong parts are bloody exspensive
just get muddy

great engines, very strong but parts not cheap but rarely needed, it's a Jappy say no more.

only real issue is insurance as some don't like modified vehicles, just go to Flux they will sort you out, me I am a bit sold on Jap engines in LR vehicles :lol: :lol:
