Why is it?
« on: July 13, 2008, 09:18:44 »
That some people are predisposed to take advantage of ones personal weaknesses? And i suppose why do they then gain our forgiveness?

There are a lot of personal reasons behind this but they are staying private, i'm just trying to get my head round the bigger concept so i might make an informed decision.

That is natures way of surviving, it's pretty much in our animal instincts.

And i suppose why do they then gain our forgiveness?

As to forgiving them, that I have no idea. Maybe we can see the same in ourselves and would do the same if the roles were reversed.

Yeah sounds about right.

I guess the trick is in knowing when it has gotten too old and that it's time to quit.

Some people will always hone in on others weaknesses, it is the only way they can make them selves feel confident.
We all have weaknesses, mine are being fat and bald and when pulled into any form of confrontation these will be the things that will have derogatory terms thrown at me.
You just have to remember that by using your weaknesses against you they are in fact showing there own insecurities and display their inability to form any kind of intelligent form of criticism or helpfull suggestion.
You also have to remember though, that amongst a group of Friends, these same weaknesses will also be a form of humour towards one another.

Right I'm off to get me lardy fat bald ass of to the garden centre with swmbo  :(

But if one is part of a team then should one not be playing to the strengths of the members of the team for it's greater good, rather than fighting ones team mates?
