after reading the other thread, it was fun and NOT damaging to greenlaning, as the general public will still not have a clue about it.

I didn't see it, but if they called it greenlaning then I would say yes, it was. Top Gear antics are the sort of thing that gets us a bad name and gets lanes closed.

None of that was Green Laning, it was more like driving across a private estate... Looked like fun if you ask me.
If want to walk it walk it, if you want to ride it ride it just leave me alone to drive it!

I enjoyed watching it, but wouldnt really class it as green laning, more messing about on private land (I hope) - which is fine.

Lets face facts people if you are against us, nothing will make you like green laning... if you are a 4x4 fan you are with us.....And if you you are not sure I would suggest you have no interest either way and therefore who cares...

So I figure The Top Gear Crew made no real difference... yep the bobbles will complain, but it appeared to all be done on a private estate, it entertainment luvvie!

of course theres bound to be people that complain but he was on private land so nobody can do anything!  for example, what i do on private land i have access to i wouldn't necessarily do on a byway.
