electric window woes !!!
« on: July 25, 2008, 14:17:29 »
The front passenger side window has ceased to operate on my 200Tdi Disco.
The switch, window motor and fuse are all OK. Does anyone know where the relay is (if there is one).

Regards

Not sure about the location or any relays but have you tried the window lift ecu?

I had a dry joint on my 300TDI which caused the rear windows to stop working - Just a thought.

I put 12volts direct onto the motor to get the window up, but it didnt work off the switch after that. It was only a few hours later when i poked about that it worked off the switch.
Next time it conks out it will check if there is power at the motor 1st.
