Why cant people just wait for 2 mins
« on: July 25, 2008, 15:36:54 »
We was parked in a car park today in ely and this old git in a mondeo tried to park beside our car when my wife was putting our 3 yr old in the car and he was nudging forward and caught my wifes leg so I told him if he goes any further I will deck him.

Maybe I'm stating the obvious here .............but wouldn't you have been showing your 7 1/2 months pregnant wife some courtesy if you had been putting your child in the car?

Maybe then the whole situation could have been avoided?

Sometimes people are like those clockwork monkeys with the cymbals, just wind em up and watch em go!!!

On a more serious note, lets throw penguins at old people, it makes so much sense!

Plain ignorance and impatience, I think I'd have threatened to shove his car where the sun don't shine,  just cos he's getting on a bit doesn't excuse his behaviour in fact he should know better!

people dont care these days you hold a door open for the old folk all you get is a grunt no thank you very much just a grunt

You think that's bad manners, try holding one open for a Doctor in a Hospital

When you look at them & say "Thankyou" on their behalf (as they're too ignorant to do so), they look at you as though you've suddenly grown two heads.

They must be like officers in the forces, so far up their own ****.  I always say sarcastically  "You're welcome" and make sure they hear!!

Most are.

It's the Middle Grades that are worst. Juniors (Houses Officers) are at the bottom of the food-chain & are scared of upsetting anyone.
Consultants can be okay, as they've not got a lot to prove

SHOs (Senior House Officers) & Registrars are the worst, most of them 'think they know it all' (& are above good manners)

But........................ Midwives are as bad, a large majority have a chip the size of the Thirld World Debt on their shoulders!!!!!
