Red Tarmac
« on: July 28, 2008, 13:07:20 »
Having owned a succession of Land Rovers my drive has more than its fair share of oil patch's along with a couple of small holes and crumbly edges, so i guess it needs resurfacing, i like the look of that Red tarmac stuff has anyone any idea what the cost would be per sq metre to have it done and how would that compare to the price of having it done in blocks/bricks ?

We had our driveway done about 4 yrs ago, in red, i would say that it's not as hard wearing as black, and it doesn;t like de-greaser....LOL!!! or oil drips.......  looks nice though!!

gone from 200tdi.... to 300tdi... still with loads done to it, in fact, even more than the last truck...LOL!!!

I wouldn't bother having red tarmac, as for a start it cost 1 an a half times more per ton than black and its only really use on path's as it's a finer grain to keep the colour.

If at first you don't succeed, try, try, then reverse over it...

Two bits of black tarmac are in a bar, some red tarmac comes in and spills one of the black bits pint.

Black bit of tarmac says right, im not having that and stats to walk over to the red tarmac.

"Dont mess with that red tarmac" says his mate, "Hes a bloody cycle-path"

Sorry, Couldn't resit it.
