polly bush
« on: August 06, 2008, 20:33:43 »
Been busy fitting the poly bush kit to the disco as i have had to rebuild the front axle as the bearings  driveshaft and a front bush had failed.
got all the stuff from paddocks at a good price
so i have all new bearings and seals on both axles also made up a gaitor set to cover the swivels (like the ser1s had)
and a new head gasket set too
what a difference to drive so much smoother and corners better
had a problem with the rear aframe bushes as couldn't undo the bolts so took it to a local garage and they cut a bolt out and then had to get a new one made by a local with a lathe (so no waiting for parts here)total cost was £38 for four hours labour
