did you read the posts that go with it? there is one from someone moaning that the police need such a big expensive car to drive up and down the motorway, when there are smaller and cheaper cars out there that they could be using. I could go on for about 5000 words but I think I`ll give you the condensed version instead......
Coppers have to carry a lot of equipment, and they have to carry it very quickly sometimes. rant over
Don`t blindly follow where others lead, go you own way, and leave a trail. which, being in a Land Rover, will be of oil.

I have seen a police Range Rover pull a 40 ton lorry from the fast lane of the M1 to the hard shoulder, try doing that with a front wheel drive Vauxhall Vectra

There's a few soot-jugglers having a rant, aren't there??? But I'm impressed with the total lack of damage to the car! It looked like a low speed slide, but even so, it's 'well, 'ard!!!

Quote from same page.

"Lots of people with 60k to spend on a shopping trolley like to fire them at mountains at 60mph so they need to be able to take the knocks. "
Lots of people with 60K??? Like to fire them at mountains??? At 60 MPH???

Bet he's one of the anti 4x4 brigade, or at least as well educated/knowledgeable. T**t!

Could go on with a lot of "police don't need fast cars" nonesense. I won't, the police have a very difficult job to do. It's just a shame most of them do such a sh**e job of it.
Cheers, Karl..
