stay with epson but tbh printers are dead cheap these days, have a look in places like staples but i would first go and see how much replacement cartridges are if the quality is similar across different brands

I"ve just bought a HP Photosmart C4180 all in one and I am well impressed with it. Only paid £35 for it, brand new off Ebay but you can get them for £50 at Argos.

Epson CX3650 - all in one, cheap inks and very good quality - even in photo mode, plus turns into a stand alone copier without the pc

Personally I would stay with Epson, and with regards to inks, I always look for printers with individual colour tanks now too.

Sometimes printers are disposable, you pay more for the ink refills than you do for the printer :?

Yeah, I was finding that a while ago.

Settled with my Epson RX425, get the inks from eBay now though, quite cheap.

I NEVE£R go for compatible cartridges though, always go for the originals.

I find they not only last longer, but I find the compatibles block up the heads on the printers.....
