just got back after a bit of fun in my  two local fords  ...only to find two mercedes sprinters on two seperate occassions trying to do submarine impressions!!!!!!
maybe i shouldnt set an example to them letting them see me  drive my landy through with the water over my bonnet and 2 inches up my windscreen !!

because hey presto both drivers thought they'd have a go..neither got half way!!!!.

poor souls, the one driver thought a bit of wd40 would do the trick, both engines were locked solid

good job i had my waders on so i could find their towing eyes!!!

oh well with more rain falling now and more forecast ..then tommorrow should be good fun!!
if i can still see my bonnet then the water aint deep enough!!!!

the ford that the vans got stuck in was at green lane ,hall green that one was about wheel depth..

the big one by me is at houndsfield lane,wythall/shirley...when i left that an hour ago it was reading 4ft on the marker and was about 40 metres  long...the marker usually reads about 8in less than it really is....and it is a fast flowing ford..great for some sideways wading!!!
if i can still see my bonnet then the water aint deep enough!!!!
