Hi, just want to know what people have done to the interior as im looking to do a bit of wading but wondering what happens to the interior when it fills with water?

bin the carpets. they dont tend to fill up if you keep moving. but as soon as you stop thats when you get a wet behind, kills the radio and anything else mounted low.

that was stuck, and over the seats inside. had to cut a hole in the pouch to get the water out.

snorkel, drain pipe.

When rebuilding my sills with box section I deliberately didn't pust the lips back on which the door seal fits on to at the bottom. This way any watter that gets in will get out again lot easier. The only carperts left in mine are over the rear wheel arches and they are only there to tidy up around the rear seats.

The bottom section of the door seals got cut away so the seals now just run down to the sill and then run onto the side of the sill for a couple of inches, where they are bonded on. Though not yet finishes the plan is to get some suitable seal that can then be stuck/riveted onto the bottom of the door.

wing is easey to get off, about 8 bolts on top under the bonnet and 4-5 behind the door all glued with silicone, took me about half an hour to take my front end apart

im going to drill aload of holes in the floor of mine with a bolt tacked onto the underside of the floor so i can plug up holes with bolts if need be :D

Iv swapped the carpets for 18mm stable matting witch keeps the noise down and lifts out after a good day off road to let every thing dry out. And doesn't adsorb water like the standard rubbish.

I think it was about £30 for a 6x4 sheet. I got it from the local farm shop.
