are those window mounted amplified fm ariels any good or a waste of brass?

Back in the early nineties I fitted one to my astra and it did the job well. So in theory, the newer ones available now... should be better at it!

However, if you have a CB, consider the gadget from Thunderpole that lets you feed both the CB & the stereo from a single CB antenna. I'll be fitting mine in the next couple of weeks.

The ones you can get from halfords etc are not much cop got one in my disco and its not very good to say at picking up signals. I am looking at getting a little rubber arieal for it and ditch the inside one.

I use a cb aerial for my fm radio works well

I v'e just fitted one in my defender alpine window and it,s working a treat.
