Guys i know its not a series but thought you may be more clued up seing as its a 2 1/4 petrol 90.. it has a webber carb  the truck starts 1st time when cold and if left to cool down will start again on the button, but if switched off for 10-15 mins then try to restart  just turns over.. press the throttle it floods .. u have to just let it crank over then try to catch it on the throttle when it starts to fire, :| any ideas?

Fuel stavation/evaporation. IIRC it is a problem with the Weber carb. Wrap the fuel line in tin foil to reflect the heat and give that a try.
