OK, if you're looking at this thread then I guess that, like me, you are never without a book or two on the go and often end up with a huge pile that needs to be got rid off to keep SWMBO (or HWMBO) happy.
If your like me, you hate to part with them, never sure if they'll end up in the dump instead of bringing entertainment to others.
Fear not! I have found a fantastic
site that lets you "release" a book into the wild, marked with a serial number which the finder then lists so that it's travels around the globe can be tracked!
I love the concept! Apparently it's been set up by some kind of rich business man and is self funding (membership is free but goodies are on sale).
If you sign up, let them know I sent you there (my handle is the same there as here!)
Now you can see that the books you send out into the world are working hard... not rotting in a soggy heap!
