Not every problem can be solved with duct tape, and it's exactly for those situations we have WD 40

As I understand it clamping is illegal in Scotland having been ruled to be extortion. About time the rest of the UK followed.

It doesn't solve anything, as the immobilised vehicle now blocks the space. All it does is make obscene sums for the clampers and cause people unnecessary hassle.

The solution is to buy one of these and convert into a camper;

They run on any fuel, veggie oil or otherwise, and would create a bit of difficulty when attempting to fit a wheel clamp.

Plus point, if the clampers chase you down the road and block you in, you simply drive over the top of the clamper van...sorted!

Good luck to the chap. I never did like the idea of parking enforcement being handed out to 'private' companies and other organisations.

Fit a set of super-swampers, even if they can find a clamp big enough you can let the tyre down and remove it ;)

One of those big Scammell heavy haulage tractors would do it. Either a Contractor or Constructor. Wheels too big for clamps and frankly I think something designed to drag hundred ton transformers about isn't likely to notice a few bits of metal...

We Had one of the wagons in my old job clamped when they first came out. Silly clamper fited to the lift axle of the truck so the driver just lifted the axle and drove off. Aparentley the clampers exprestion was price less. Even more so when our boss rang them and made them come to our yard to removed it at thier expense.
