He he he... I was first on scene at this crash as I work from a beat office at RAF Cranwell...

The yellow landie was parked behing the building the plane went through and spun around 180 degrees. Its stood up very well to the impact.

Luckily no one was hurt.
If want to walk it walk it, if you want to ride it ride it just leave me alone to drive it!

whats the red line in the overhead shot?
and good job it wasnt a yank jet - it would have exploded as soon as it hit the deck (watched too many US movies)

and 1 VERY unhappy Subaru driver

If I recall rightly it was a hose. Lets ust say everyone in the tower was very lucky, 5 foot to the side and itwould have gone right throught the control tower.
It was an interesting job. But to be fair it happened on a RAF base so it was mostly their problem to deal with.

This will probably get wriiten off as 'Officers High Spirited Japes'.
Good to know that no one was hurt. The landy will be taken to the workshop, given a quick blow over with the spray gun, and it'll be fine.

Imagine writing the insuarnace claim though for the cars.

Well, I was parked at work and a red arrow flew over, hit the control tower, fell down and hit my car.

I can see that claim taking a long time to go through from the insurance co not believeing them!
