Hi Lift rebuild
« on: September 17, 2008, 20:35:35 »
Hi Guys and girls.

I have bought an old hi lift and stripped , blasted and painted it .

as I was doing this I made a note of where everything went however I didn't make a note of which way up the climber pins go

so the question is does the bevel face up or down or each other or away from each other

so many hills , so little time ....

Both face ther same way, such that the saddle can ride up the rack, or you can pull it up by hand.

Thanks RRB :D

so both bevels facing up then

thats the way I put it together but I wanted to check  ;)

both pins had marks on the none bevel side that looked like they had some weight on them at some point this was the only clue I had :D
